Our Story
Stone Family Farm began in 2014 as a simple idea to raise a few
chickens for their eggs. Now, years later, we are an ever growing venture still
based on our core principles. We raise our chickens and allow them plenty of
space to feed and be outside. All our chickens both hen and rooster enjoy a
safe place to live, eat and sleep. All our coops have automated doors that open
and close with the sun plus we monitor the runs, field and coops with a 16
camera CCTV system, smart house technology on all doors (both chicken and man),
and we monitor and control temperature with smart sensors, fans, and
heaters.
We feed our hens good non-GMO feed, allow them to graze and do what
chickens do naturally. Our chickens drink from waterers that keep their water
clean and fresh and it is monitored daily.
Our eggs come from, currently, three breeds of chickens,
while this will change from time to time, we inspect all our eggs for quality.
The shells, the yolk, the egg white, the taste, and the overall appearance of
the egg. We eat our own eggs and always pay attention to the egg’s quality.
